Sigmatech, Inc. has established a new Florida office to support the Directorate of Launch and Range Operations under Space Systems Command. Located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, the facility provides technical support for launch and range operations.
Key Functions
The office assists with launch forecasting, scheduling, mission analysis, range operations, and budgeting activities. Staff members have relocated from Colorado Springs and other locations to enable closer collaboration with government customers at the Cape Canaveral and Patrick Space Force Base facilities.
Facility Details
The office occupies space within a historic launch control center and features private offices, conference areas, video teleconference capability, and high-speed internet access.
Program Leadership
Phil Hays, Program Lead for Florida operations, emphasized the team's expertise: "With over 150 years of collective space experience, our team members sit shoulder to shoulder with government customers to help shape the future of space operations."
The opening reflects Sigmatech's 25-year legacy supporting Department of Defense space access initiatives and continues their Space Operations Division work from Colorado Springs.
